3rd Quarter Results
During the third quarter, Fibria completed its strategic repositioning, focused on the pulp business and its forest base, with the sale of its Piracicaba Unit (São Paulo state) to OJI Paper for US$ 313 million. Pulp sales during the quarter totaled 1.2 million tons, 7% more than the figure recorded in the third quarter of 2010. Net operating revenue came to R$ 1.45 billion, equivalent to the result for the previous quarter. The company's net debt amounted to R$ 9.54 billion, an increase of 20% over the figure at the end of the second quarter, due to the appreciation of the US dollar against the real, which had a balance sheet accounting impact but didn't affect the cash position.
